How BidSync AI works
- Upload the plan set. Add a PDF plan set to a bid. BidSync AI reads each sheet's title block to identify the discipline and skips sheets that only carry general notes.
- AI drafts the takeoff. The AI quantity extractor lists counted items (EA) and linear runs (LF) with the sheet each came from and a confidence score. Lengths are reported only when the sheet scale is confirmed.
- Results are grouped by scope. Quantities roll up by system, such as sewer, water and storm, and by category, such as pipe, fittings, structures, valves and hydrants, with subtotals per group.
- Items match to assemblies. Each item is matched to a standard assembly organized by the same scopes, so materials, labor and equipment carry into the estimate at your own rates.
- Your estimator approves. Low-confidence items are flagged for review, and nothing goes into the number until a person accepts it.
